ARMADO GROUP: A resident of the neighboring state shot in Bolivia | Police

The young Letícia Oliveira Souza, 22, resident of the city of Pontes and Lacerda (MT), was shot dead following her departure from a house on Sunday (22) in San Ignacio de Velasco, in Bolivia. A friend of the victim, Maikol Douglas Acosta, was also shot dead.

According to information from the local El Deber website, the young woman and five other friends drank alcohol in a house. After leaving the residence, an armed group surrounded the Brazilians.

Then the criminals shot Leticia and his friends. Leticia was and his friend was shot dead, and the killers fled the place shortly thereafter.

Leticia's friends saved the victim and sent her to the city's hospital. However, she did not survive the injuries and died shortly after arriving at the health center.

Leticia's body was sent to the city of Santa Cruz de La Sierra, where she will undergo an autopsy examination. Until now, the family has not yet commented on the funeral procedures. Leticia had criminal pbadages.

Maikol was referred to the San Ignacio Municipal Hospital. His condition has not been reported.
