We recently showed a controversy in which Google was accused of sharing Gmail information with some third-party companies. The information has been revealed by the Wall Street Journal, and it mainly reaches the trust of thousands of search service messaging service users.
Now, it seems that Microsoft is not afraid of getting involved in a similar problem. This is because the giant Redmond has started testing with some users the inclusion of advertisements in the Windows 10 Messaging application .
According to the Bleeping Computer website, these ads have the symbol of AdChoices, something that says they're personalized. In addition, the advertisements have the same visual of a regular email which can lead many users to inadvertently click on it.
With the implementation of the test, he began to draw the attention of some users to the fact that Microsoft is now investing in advertisements that are not proprietary products . This is because, since its launch, Windows 10 has launched small ads for OneDrive and Office, for example.
For now, we do not know yet if the giant Redmond wants to keep this type of approach in its operating system. Even though Windows 10 is now considered a service, it's no wonder that it has new ways to make profit for Microsoft.
Do you use the native Windows 10 messaging application? What do you think of the news? Tell us your opinion here in the comments.
