In recent years, debit and credit cards have been widely used by Brazilians as a means of payment, but money remains the preferred method of the population to consume. According to a survey by the Central Bank, 60% of the population choose to pay their bills in cash, while debit and credit cards are the most used respectively by 22% and 15% of consumers.
