Princess Mako of Japan, the granddaughter of Emperor Akihito, embarked on Tuesday (17) in Brazil, where she will remain two weeks, to participate in events commemorating the 110th anniversary of the The arrival of the first Japanese immigrants to the country.
The 26-year-old princess left the Tokyo International Airport and is expected to land in Rio de Janeiro tomorrow, her fourth trip abroad, the first in Brazil.
Mako will visit 14 cities in five states, where he will participate in various acts and meet Japanese descendants in the country, before returning to Japan on the 31st.
Arriving in Brazil, the princess should visit with the # 39, courtesy of President Michel Temer, as well as the visit of the statue of Christ the Redeemer, before continuing Thursday (19) in Paraná.
