The search for the missing plane on the north coast of Santa Catarina, between Navegantes and Itapema, was resumed this morning (28), in the afternoon of last Friday (27). In the morning, the teams found a wing of the plane and a backpack, recognized by the family of pilot José Ubirajar Moreira da Silva, 68, missing. Searches are continuing this Saturday. José is the father of the pre-candidate for the government of Rio de Janeiro and the deputy state, Pedro Fernandes (PDT-RJ).

Jose's business was found by the Department of Fire
According to the Santa Catarina Military Firefighters, Saturday was delineated a search area of about 25 square kilometers, depending on wind conditions and waves, where there is more chance to find the plane and the pilot. A fisherman who was on the south shore of Praia Brava de Itajaí on Saturday morning saw the wing of the aircraft with floating signs in the sea near the jetties, confirming the area bounded as being more likely to find the wreckage of the plane.

Three fire service vessels operate on the site. In addition to the ships, the archangels 01 and 02 remain on the ground and watch the weather, as if the sea fog scattered the ships and also returned the searches.

The small experimental aircraft crashed about 8km southeast of Navegantes, with only one occupant. The pilot José took off Friday afternoon from Porto Belo and made the last contact with the navigators' tower near this time. The search began Friday afternoon but was suspended due to Friday's bad weather and fog. For this reason, the teams had to search for water on Friday night.
