Windows 10 Insider Build 17713 Provides New Features for Notepad and PDF

[ad_1]

Users of Microsoft Edge will have some good surprises with the update of Windows 10 Insider Build 17713 . Although the system is not full of new features, business users will find interesting additions: Web connection, Quick connection and even use of biometrics to connect to a remote PC.

Check out what's new:

Autoplay and PDF orders

As part of the new site orders, the user will have the freedom to decide if the video will play automatically. To access the commands, simply click on the lock icon in the browser.

Edge also added dictionary functions, where words can be highlighted, and then get a definition. When you open a PDF file, there will also be descriptions.

WDAG Configuration Options

The vast majority of users have probably never used Microsoft's Windows Device Application Guard (WDAG) software, their secure browser. But, the new version puts more options to the user when you click on the Settings menu.

Notepad now supports users to search for text snippets, as well as zooming. Just use CTRL + or Ctrl-, the same commands to zoom in and out on web pages.

The company connections get easier:

These features are not available for mainstream PCs, but it's worth it. It's a pity to know them: anyone using Remote Desktop now has the option to use Windows Hello to connect to a remote PC. Companies can also connect with web credentials, as well as use what is called the "fast connection," which dramatically reduces the time required for users to join a shared PC.

Details to observe

Build 17713 seems a little more unstable than others. Currently, there is a bug that blocks the ability to recover or reset the PC, so some users may want to delay updates. Another flaw is that PCs with multiple monitors turn off their screens. In this case, Ctrl-Alt-Del and then Cancel can help you.
