A 24-year-old boy was arrested on the night of Saturday (14), after forcing his mother to make coffee while threatening with a homemade machine gun at Montes Claros, in northern Minas Gerais
. , the mother and son were at home in the neighborhood of Sao Judas when the suspect asked the victim to prepare coffee for him. As the woman did not want to, he pointed the gun on his head and made a hostage.
A sister of the suspect called the police, who had to negotiate with the young man to free his mother. After releasing the woman, he fled by jumping the wall to the neighbor's house. The suspect left behind the pistol and 94 powder tubes that were seized.
About half an hour later, the police returned to the family home and found the suspect in a hole covered with leaves. He was arrested and the incident sent to the civilian police of Montes Claros who will investigate the case.
