The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a “maritime accident” at 9:41 a.m., apparently involving the General Joe Potter ferry at Walt Disney World.
The ferry, which transports passengers between Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center, is currently not available for service and is docked at Magic Kingdom. There is no visible damage, and it is not known if there were any injuries or what exactly the boat crashed into.
After the incident, it appears General Joe Potter was taken behind the scenes as we only saw Admiral Joe Fowler and Richard F. Irvine set sail.
