The new Disney Genie service, including Genie + and Lightning Lane, will launch at Walt Disney World on October 19. These are new tools through the My Disney Experience app to help customers plan their day.

“Available to all of our customers directly in the My Disney Experience app, the free Disney Genie service offers new features that allow you to create your best Disney Day. These features include a custom route maker that effortlessly and intelligently plans an entire day inspired by the things you tell us you love – helping you make the most of your park time so you can have more fun.
Similar to a navigation app on your phone, Disney Genie keeps updating your itinerary from morning to night as the day changes, so you can stay spontaneous and go with the flow – whatever you need to. a nap, whether you encounter an unexpected downpour or want to take a detour to a Mickey Ice Cream Bar.
Many of you have asked how this great new technology works. Behind the scenes, the app is able to magically evaluate thousands of possible routes in seconds – so you don’t even have to think about it! Disney Genie puts customers at the center of the experience.
