BREAKING: Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever will both retire for good ahead of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary

Just announced by Disney, this summer is your last chance to go out and witness current fireworks shows “before they sparkle in Disney history.”

“EPCOT Forever” will conclude its limited time scheduled on September 28, and you have until September 29 to attend the “Happily Ever After” show at Magic Kingdom Park.

Harmonious and Disney Enchantment will replace the aforementioned shows, and both will debut on October 1, 2021 at the start of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” to mark Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

Happily Ever After debuted on May 12, 2017, just over 4 years ago. To say he’s loved is an understatement, so we would expect many fans to express their displeasure about it. However, it should be noted that unlike an attraction closing, retired night shows have been known to return after extended periods of absence.
