TFI International has agreed to acquire UPS Freight for approximately $ 800 million, the Canadian trucking and logistics company said Monday.
The transaction represents TFI’s largest acquisition to date. It will dramatically increase its truckload size and smaller footprint than truckload in the United States.
“We are excited about this very exciting opportunity to extend our long-standing history of successful growth through the acquisition, which will allow TFI International to become one of North America’s largest LTL carriers,” said said TFI CEO Alain Bedard.
