Breath of the Wild is so relatable – Destructoid

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Music Video

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide

While I was watching this Zelda: Breath of the Wild From DatMemeConnoisseur on Reddit, I couldn’t help but remember the beginnings in this version of Hyrule. As I have said several times, luckily I was able to play an advanced version of Breath of the wild, completely isolated from any meta, speeches or guides. It was just me and the desert, and wouldn’t you know it I completely wandered through Hyrule Field and blew himself up by the Guardians. It is a rite of passage.

In fact, it’s something everyone should experience if possible; complete terror of hearing and seeing this laser line for the first time. You can witness this horror in the Zelda: Breath of the Wild clip below in real time, as Link dodges, ducks, dives, dives, dodges out of harm’s way. When told by a commentator that Hyrule Field was a place of death, the video’s creator said they “unfortunately learned this the hard way.” Watching a player don flamebreaker armor in Hyrule Field and not use their shield to deflect fire is also a boss kiss moment; the latter that I only started doing at the very end of my game.

Of course, like all the greats of all time Zelda: Breath of the Wild clip it has a perfect Monty Python-esque ending out of nowhere. You hate to see it! They’ve actually been quite successful in getting away from these Guardians.

We’re now at the point where people are speedruning every aspect of the game possible, like “no fast races”. We are a long way from the times below as a community!
