Three grand jurors in the investigation into the police raid that killed Breonna Taylor, 26, are now seeking the impeachment of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (right) over allegations he mismanaged the case .
Jurors filed a petition with the the State House of Representatives, arguing that Cameron violated public trust and also distorted the main grand jury findings, according to the Louisville Mail Journal, who first reported the complaint.

Cameron’s office did not immediately respond to The Hill’s request for comment on the impeachment petition.
The grand jury had investigated the execution by Louisville police of a search warrant without knocking at Taylor’s apartment in March 2020, in which several shots were fired, some of which hit and killed Taylor .
Cameron announced in September that the grand jury had brought just three charges of gratuitous endangerment against one of the officers, with none of the officers facing charges specifically related to Taylor’s death.
Since the grand jury ruling, however, several jurors in the case have come forward saying their conclusions have been distorted.
At a press conference, Cameron claimed there were six possible homicide charges laid before the grand jury as part of their investigation. But several grand jurors have asserted they did not have the opportunity to deliberate on additional costs apart from the heads of free endangerment.

The petition to impeach Cameron comes amid similar actions against other Kentucky officials in recent weeks.
