Former Wisconsin Badger head coach Bret Bielema is working to fill his new coaching staff in Illinois after taking over as head coach on Dec.19.
One of his first moves was to make former Badger Terrance Jamison his new defensive line coach. Today, he continued the trend of recruiting his former players to his squad, appointing Aaron Henry the school’s new defensive back coach.
Henry played for the Badgers from 2007-2011, starting 27 games combined in 2010 and 2011 in which he recorded 6 interceptions, 17 passes defended, 1 forced fumble, 3 fumble recoveries, 125 total tackles and 3.5 tackled by defeat.
The former Badger will now reunite with his former Illinois coach as Bielema and his team strive to move the Illini football program in the right direction.
