Brian Eno, Beach House and Santigold are among the musical contributors to an upcoming art show in Las Vegas, as Brooklyn Vegan points out. Omega Mart (put together by art and entertainment company Meow Wolf) is located in a psychedelic grocery store. The show opens on February 18 at the AREA15 entertainment complex in Vegas. Omega Mart exists in a surreal 52,000 square foot supermarket. More than 325 creatives participated in the creation of the exhibition, which includes more than 250 unique projects.
“We are thrilled to be working with such a high caliber of artists from around the world to bring this installation to life,” said Corvas Brinkerhoff, Executive Creative Director of Meow Wolf Las Vegas, in a press release. “We collaborate with all types of amazing talent, from local Las Vegas artists like Heather Hermann and Justin Favela to international sensations like Claudia Bueno and Cocolab, and national designers like Shrine and Stephen Hendee.
