Hayden Panettiere's boyfriend could be sentenced to jail time following his arrest earlier this month for allegedly attacking the actress.
Page Six The Los Angeles County District Attorney accused Brian Hickerson of one charge of hurting a girlfriend, confirmed Page Six. The Hickerson trial is scheduled for Thursday, May 23rd. If he is found guilty, he faces up to four years in prison.

Los Angeles police arrested Hickerson at the couple's home in May for spousal abuse after being allegedly engaged in a physical altercation after a night drinking in Hollywood. He is accused of starting the fight.

Police also reported redness and marks on Panettiere's body.

Panettiere, 29, and Hickerson began dating this summer after his separation from Wladimir Klitschko. The ex-star of "Nashville" shares his daughter Kaya, 4, with her ex.
