Brian Keene joins the writers' room for the new Marvel books from Serial Box (now with Alex de Campi)

The news is out! Brian Keene's Marvel's new secret project, which you heard about for the first time here on Bleeding Cool (pip pip), will consist of a new series of serialized stories featuring Marvel heroes and published by Serial Box. The project will feature stories about characters such as Thor, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Jessica Jones, and, like previous Serial Box projects, will likely feature "seasons" of about 10 to 16 episodes, consumable in form. electronic books or audio books, and sold individually or with a season ticket. Text and audio versions come with a one-time purchase of $ 1.99 per episode.

Keene teased the big announcement yesterday on Twitter, but was not able to reveal the nature of the project before the release of the official press release. That's what happened this morning in various outlets, revealing that Keene would join a writers room next to Aaron Stewart-Ahn, Jay Edidin, and Yoon Ha Lee. This team will work on the first series, featuring Thor. Future stories and creative teams have not yet been revealed.

"As this is the norm on a property like this, I'm limited to what I can say, but it's my third project with Serial Box, and I love working with them" said Keene to Bleeding Cool in an EX-X-XTREMELY Quote EX-X-XCLUSIVE (so EX-X-XCLUSIVE). "They treat their creators and their customers very well. I am also delighted to work with the rest of the editorial team. Aaron has brought to this project the same gonzo, the same hardcore energy that was so present in MANDY, and it will be fun to watch him unleash himself in the Marvel universe. And on a personal note, although it's cool to write Thor, I'm especially excited to include other characters I do not think they'll have enough love these days. And neither one nor the other are Wolverine or Conan.

But what if both are Wolverine and Conan? Converine and Wolvernan debut by Brian Keene confirmed? Hey, if it works for Hulkverineswhy not try again?

Keene refused to comment on our assumptions, which suggests that we are too close to the truth. No word at the moment on the date of publication, but we will keep you informed of the weekly installments of press articles on clickbait.

Update: Alex de Campi (!!!) revealed on Instagram that she would be the star of all Serial Box titles and that they would be available in the summer of 2019:

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the darkest days of the cartoon industry, a hero will come to guide the people through a flail of too expensive floppy disks, covers of variants, raises # 1 and # 39 super mega cross events.

The scourge of Rich Johnston, word-game maker and Snyder Cut researcher, Jude Terror, unfortunately, is not what the hero needs in terms of comics at the moment … but it's the one that the industry deserves.
