Brian Turk – who played in HBO's "Carnivale" and has had countless appearances in hit series – has passed away … TMZ has learned.
The veteran actor died Friday due to complications from a cancer, according to his representative. We are told that he was diagnosed a year ago, but that his cancer has recently become terminal.
Over the years, he has appeared in some of the greatest Hollywood movies and films, including in series like "Two and Half Men", "Buffy Against Vampires", "The Jamie Foxx Show", "Step by Step "," Wings "" Beverly Hills, 90210 "," Boy Meets World "," ER "," Criminal Minds "," General Hospital "," Animal Kingdom "," NCIS "and others.

Brian has also had smaller roles in such films as "American Pie 2", "A.I. Artificial Intelligence", "Dundee Crocodile in Los Angeles", "The Lost World: Jurassic Park", "Big Fat Liar" and more. He had 42 credits of actor in his name, through his IMDb page.
He is perhaps best known for his lead role in "Carnivale" in the early 2000s, in which he played the role of strong man Gabriel, who was part of the traveling circus represented on screen .

Brian is survived by his wife and 8 year old son. He was 49 years old.
