A brand new Kena: Bridge of Spirits PC showcase has surfaced, showing the game running at 8K resolution on an NVIDIA RTX 3090 GPU.
Courtesy of the “Digital Dreams” YouTube channel, this showcase is titled Ember Lab running on PC on Ultra Settings with the channel’s ReShade custom preset “Beyond all limit Raytracing” based on Pascal’s ReShade ” Marty McFly “Gilcher. This preset is used to further improve the ambient occlusion and overall lighting effects of the game, but in all fairness the difference doesn’t seem to be so noticeable. Still, this magnificent game running on a PC in 8K resolution at ultra settings is a sight to behold.
Check out the new Kena: Bridge of Spirits showcase below and judge for yourself:
Kena: Bridge of Spirits released last month on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. We reviewed the game upon release and praised its stunning visuals, puzzle design, and engaging combat.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits isn’t just at its best during combat, as the exploration mechanics are as well thought out as the action. While exploring locations to guide spirits to the afterlife and save the land from corruption, players will often have to solve simple puzzles designed around Kena’s abilities, such as controlling the Rot to move objects, shoot spiritual arrows with the bow, and so on. Many of these puzzles also require a lightweight platform which is enjoyable and never frustrating: thanks to the super smooth controls, I didn’t die once for a missed jump in my 13 hours with the game.
Deep exploration is also made more rewarding by the wealth of collectibles available, ranging from simple cosmetics to additional rotten and cursed chests, simple combat challenges with different conditions. To be fair, the optional content leaves a bit to be desired as it is basically only related to unlocking cosmetics, with the exception of meditation points which are used to increase maximum health, but the finalists will appreciate it. all the same.
