Brioche Recall: Flower Foods Hamburger and Hot Dog Bread Recall for Their Hard Plastic Choking Hazard

Flowers Food, one of the largest producers of packaged bakery products in the United States, recalls bakery products, including hamburger buns and hot dogs, as well as rolls sold by retailers such as Walmart, Aldi, Publix and Piggly Wiggly, as they might contain pieces of hard plastic a choking hazard.

The food manufacturer based in Thomasville, Georgia, launched the recall after discovering pieces of hard plastic in production equipment, the company said in a press release Tuesday. No injury or related illness has been reported.
