No, you don’t need glasses or contacts. The Kentucky Wild Cats stomped on a mud hole in the LSU Tigers and ran dry on national television. In football.
Kentucky led at one point 35-7.
It was about as impressive of a performance that I have ever seen a British football team. Will Levis played a phenomenal game, totaling five touchdowns and arguably playing his best overall game in no time as a British quarterback.
The defense, as it came to a halt at the end of the fourth quarter, played another fantastic game apart from a few big plays going in the direction of LSU.
Kentucky is starting the season 6-0 for the first time since 1950 and is already eligible for bowling midway through the season.
Kentucky will travel to Georgia next week for what is sure to be a battle for the SEC East and an alleged trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship.
With a dominant win over an SEC power, Kentucky could knock on the door of the top 10, again sitting in the top 10 with the Dawgs.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the beating of LSU:
I never thought I would see the day when I saw a Kentucky team physically abusing LSU

They play Callin ‘Baton Rouge at Kroger Field in a 42-21 win over LSU. It’s Kentucky Football’s Nirvana.

Mark Stoops took Coach O to a cute little fishing hole tonight

The RB streak that Stoops has had over the past few years has been a lot of fun

Kentucky have now won 8 straight games, including 5 consecutive SEC games, dating back to the last two games of last season.

The excuse that this team was “lucky” to win these games only lasts a very long time. You can’t question a 6-0 start, 4 of those wins coming from America’s toughest conference. This Kentucky team is legitimate. And if you don’t believe me, how about a 20+ point win over LSU.

Will Levis: 14-17, 145 yds, 3 TD; 11 rush, 75 yards, 2 TD
Chris Rodriguez: 16 rush, 147 yards, 2 TD overall
Kavosiey Smoke: 12 rush, 104 meters
Wan’Dale Robinson: 8 rec, 60 yards, TD– TheCatsPause247 (@ TheCatsPause247) 10 October 2021
Hope Platinum has a booth open for Coach O tonight, there is no need Monday…. Go cats

The past two weeks Kentucky has played Florida + LSU.
They were the most physically impressive team in those two games.
It would have been inconceivable just a few years ago.
Once again, the construction of Mark Stoops in the UK remains one of the most underrated CFB accomplishments of my life.

It’s a fantastic victory for Coach Stoops and BBN. Host a historic game next week in Georgia. I hope they will come out of it like we did in 09 !!!!
