Pop star Britney Spears attended the court hearing of her parents in Los Angeles on Friday, but the details of the appearance remain for the most part underneath.

The hearing was held in camera after Samuel D. Ingram, the attorney appointed by the court of Judge Spears, addressed the judge and asked that the room audience is cleared and closed to the media. Ingram stated that his client had requested confidentiality in order to keep his medical history out of public view

In camera, Spears and his parents, James and Lynne Spears, went to court and made submissions about their daughter's role as curator, according to the court minutes.

The court ordered Britney Spears, 37, to undergo a 730 expert assessment, which is a skills test.

Spears is under guardianship, a person legally designated to manage his finances, since 2008. His father was appointed permanent curator at the time – shortly after a declared failure, a sadly shaky and psychiatric care hold.

The status hearing continued until 18 September. Britney Spears does not have to show up for this hearing.

By the end of the hearing, Britney Spears had not left the judge's office and all the lawyers had left the private exit, so the media could not ask any questions.

Britney Spears got a no-notice order on Wednesday against Osama "Sam" Lufti, his former friend and director. CNN reported that Lufti sent threatening text messages to Britney Spears and her family.

On May 28, Lufti's lawyers will be heard by a court to plead their case against Spears.

The two legal dramas this week are just part of the story of the singer's re-appearance in the media.

On April 23, she posted on Instagram a message saying "everything is fine". Spears went to a re-education center for a 30-day stay, a source told ABC News Radio.

"Everything is fine," said Spears in the Instagram video. "My family has suffered a lot of stress and anxiety recently, so I just needed time to cope – but do not worry, I'll be back very soon."

Spears mentioned in his article that there had been "rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and so many crazy things being said."

James Spears had a colonic rupture last November and Britney canceled his Las Vegas residency project, Domination, and all his other professional commitments.

Sabina Ghebremedhin, Cassidy Gard, Christopher Watson and Kelly McCarthy of ABC News contributed to this report.
