Jamie Spears released a statement following his suspension from Britney’s guardianship on Wednesday.
In a statement shared with Fox News via his attorney, Vivian L. Thoreen, on Thursday, the singer’s father said, “Mr. Spears loves his daughter Britney unconditionally. For thirteen years he has tried to do what’s in his heart. best interest, whether as a curator or her father. It began by agreeing to serve as a curator when she voluntarily entered the trusteeship. This included helping her re-launch her career and reestablish a relationship with her Children For anyone who has tried helping a family member struggling with mental health issues, they can appreciate the sheer amount of daily worry and work that it takes.
“For Mr. Spears, it also meant biting his tongue and not responding to all the false, speculative and unsubstantiated attacks against him by certain members of the public, the media or, more recently, Britney’s own lawyer. make the outcome of yesterday’s hearing all the more disappointing, and frankly, a loss for Britney. Respectfully, the court was wrong to suspend Mr. Spears, to put a stranger in his place to manage the estate of Britney, and to extend the same guardianship that Britney begged the court to end earlier this summer.
“Again, it was Mr. Spears who took the initiative to file the motion to end the guardianship when neither Britney’s former court-appointed lawyer nor her new private lawyer would. C It is Mr Spears who asked the court yesterday for a hearing to immediately end the guardianship when Britney’s own lawyer objected, ”the statement concluded.
A LOOK AT THE OPERATION OF CONSERVATORIES LIKE BRITNEY SPEARS
Judge Brenda Penny, who is overseeing the Trusteeship case, rendered the ruling ousting Jamie as her estate curator in an explosive hearing in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters after the “Toxic” singer’s victory, her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, said: “I think you can assume she is very happy.”
Rosengart added that the “goal” is to completely free Britney from her tutelage before she turns 40 on December 2.
“The suspension is in the best interests of Britney Spears,” Justice Penny told the court en masse. “The current situation is not sustainable,” she added.

The judge also ordered that control of all of Britney’s assets be given to a temporary, court-appointed custodian – a chartered accountant named John Zabel. Justice Penny further maintained that her decision was not subject to appeal.
Some 200 to 300 #FreeBritney supporters of all ages gathered outside the Stanley Mosk courthouse to express their support for the singer. Under a huge police presence that blocked the street, chants outside the court echoed Judge Penny to “do the right thing” by freeing Britney from her father’s control “now.”
BRITNEY SPEARS FLIES A CLEAN PLANE IN THE FIRST POST SINCE DAD HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FROM THE CONSERVATORY: ‘ON CLOUD 9’
The pop star has been clamoring for years in and out of court, all as part of a strategically concerted effort to oust her father from his longtime post as his estate curator. She revealed the restrictions she was living under during a bombing hearing in June. The “Gimme More” singer claimed that she was not allowed to remove their contraceptive device or get married.
During Wednesday’s hearing, the judge heard lengthy arguments from leading attorneys representing Britney and Jamie Spears.
Rosengart said Britney “wants, needs and deserves an orderly transition” and added that she “has been abused by this man for the past decade and since she was a child”.
“Britney Spears testified under oath about the cruelty and toxic presence of James Spears in her life,” he told the judge. “There is a mountain of evidence ordering his suspension.”

Rosengart has also repeatedly referred to the recent FX and New York Times documentary and twice raised the idea that Jamie may be the subject of criminal investigations based on what has been reported.
“He will have to answer for that,” said Rosengart. “Imagine the traumatic impact on her having to sleep in the same room her father would have tried to bother.”
Meanwhile, Thoreen has defended James Spears’ record by calling the estate “impeccable” for the past 13 years.

Since working on Britney’s behalf to end her guardianship, Rosengart has managed to get Jamie to at least certify in court that he intends to step down as estate registrar once a appropriate succession plan will be in place. Britney even betrothed to her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, in the months that followed Rosengart left his mark on the affair.
Jamie had controlled Spears’ finances since 2008 after the pop star suffered a series of involuntary takeovers. Britney has been locked into a legal battle with Jamie over the past few years as she struggles to regain control of her life.
Now it looks like she will.
The next hearing in the case is scheduled for November 12 and is expected to see the judge rule on whether or not the guardianship is fully dissolved.
