Britney Spears and her fiance Sam Asghari are delighted with the arrival of a new puppy, Porsha, which Asghari bought for the pop star and revealed to fans via social media on Friday.
“Surprised my fiance with our new family member,” Asghari, 27, captioned the Instagram post.
In the clip, Spears, 39, is heard asking her beau to introduce the doberman puppy to his followers.
“Her name is Porsha, and she’s meant to love you unconditionally and is going to be trained to protect you from mothers around you with bad intentions,” he said before kissing the puppy.
The couple are currently enjoying Britney’s freedom after father Jamie Spears was suspended from her guardianship.
The couple were actually on vacation when Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny released her ruling.
The new pet comes a month after claims a dog sitter took the pop star’s previous mutts to a vet without his permission and never returned them. According to TMZ, one of Britney’s dogs was ill, leading the sitter to believe the “Toxic” singer had neglected her pets.
This report came just a day after the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six that an altercation between Britney and an employee had occurred, where the singer allegedly snatched a phone from the woman’s hand on accusations of caring poorly for his canine companions.
