Britney Spears is back from her Instagram break!

Last week, the singer announced she was taking a hiatus from social media to celebrate her engagement to longtime sweetheart Sam Asghari.
Today Britney made her comeback with a series of photos from the couple’s trip to Palm Springs.

“Some pictures of my weekend to celebrate my engagement with my … fucking shit … FIANCÉ … I still can’t believe it !!!!” Britney wrote.
“I couldn’t stay away from the gram for too long so I’m already back 💍😂🤷🏼♀️🤣 !!!!” she added.

While fans are ecstatic about Britney’s return, some fear it might not actually be her due to her hairstyle in the new post.

In Britney’s engagement post last week, she showed off a new short with a bright red highlight underlay – a very different look than what’s featured in the photos she claims to be from her celebration of engagement.
Some fans have even commented that the photos look suspiciously similar to the snaps she shared in February.
Britney addressed the concerns in her caption, writing, “I took them in Palm Springs with clip in extensions 💁🏼♀️😉🌹 !!!!!” and in another post added, “Pssss my red dye came out in the shower 🚿”
Some fans still aren’t buying Britney’s explanation, so it looks like only time will tell exactly what’s going on with her Instagram.
