Britney Spears’ mother Lynne Spears comes to the defense of her youngest daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears, after fans on social media compared her to a spider amid the ongoing fight for Britney’s conservation.
The matriarch, 66, shared a photo on Instagram of a large spider web outside her home in Louisiana on Wednesday. It didn’t take long for fans of the “Toxic” singer to troll the family after claiming that 30-year-old Jamie Lynn lied about what she had and what she got thanks to the super success of his older sister.
“Oooh look at this! It’s Jamie Lynn and his lively house,” one fan commented under the silky canvas post, while another wrote, “Awww cute! Jamie Lynn has decorated her new place. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. “
Another commentator added that the web is “as big as the one your daughter is trapped in.”

Jamie Lynn shared a cryptic Instagram story on Saturday, which featured an audio clip of her daughter lending heartwarming words.
“It’ll be fine, mom,” Ivey Watson, 3, said in the short clip. “You must be fine, mom.”

Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, filed an ex parte application on August 5, asking that the next September 29 hearing in his trusteeship case be postponed until later this month.
The request was dismissed by a judge on Monday and the hearing to determine her father Jamie Spears’ status with the guardianship is still set for September.
