Britney Spears Musical It was once again playing in Chicago, Broadway Eyes

Britney Spears discography makes its way onto the stage of musical theater. The new musical It was once again will make its world premiere in Chicago this fall, with eyes on a next Broadway arc.

The performances will begin on October 29th at the James M. Nederlander Theater before the official opening on November 13th. The limited pre-Broadway pledge is scheduled until December 1st.

Kristin Hangii (nominated by Tony for another jukebox musical: Rock of the ages) will lead the show with a book by Jon Hartmere (Bare: a pop opera). Featuring characters as famous as Cinderella and Snow White, the musical will use Spears' success stories to tell the story of a royal reading club whose fairy tale concepts are challenged by The feminine mystiquefairy godmother.
