Jamie Lynn Spears explained that she was out of phase after apparently being called out by her sister, Britney, who is currently in a high-profile legal battle over her guardianship.
Britney took to her Instagram on Friday to share a message slamming people “who never showed up” for her over the past 13 years as she grappled with her guardianship issues. The post apparently included a hit against her sister, who recently broke her silence on the matter after the “Toxic” singer did the same through explosive testimony in court in June.
“I feel strong, stable and still on this beautiful Saturday,” Jamie Lynn shared on her Instagram Story Saturday as she posed for a selfie in her car while wearing dark sunglasses and a neon yellow mask.
In a follow-up post with a similar picture, she wrote, “God is all around.”

While she didn’t directly address the controversy, many were quick to speculate that Jamie Lynn’s post was a direct response to the not-so-subtle blow her sister gave her over the weekend. The star has said in the past that she doesn’t want to be associated with her sister’s battle for guardianship, but has expressed support nonetheless.
The 39-year-old singer took to Instagram on Friday to take on the “closest people” to her without naming any names.
“There is nothing worse than when the people closest to you who have never come forward for you post about your situation whatever it is and speak righteously for support,” he said. -she writes in the caption. “There is nothing worse than this !!!!”

While it’s not clear if Jamie Lynn is the subject Spears is rebelling against in his post, it would fit the narrative presented by the star. Jamie Lynn has previously said she didn’t feel comfortable talking about her sister’s guardianship and noted that she wanted to be left out of the conversation as her continuation or ending will not affect her life in any way. .

It’s been a big week for Spears as a new lawyer, Matthieu Rosengart, has been approved by the court. The change in representation came after her explosive testimony last month in which she lashed out at her father Jamie and the guardianship he has overseen since 2008.
In testimony, she called the guardianship “abusive” and said it had left her “traumatized”.
