The theater's owner, James L. Nederlander, announced Tuesday that he was producing a new musical featuring Ms. Spears' catalog of songs, one of the best-selling pop artists of all time, which explores an alternative arc for some princesses of classic fairy tales.

He added that the score currently includes 23 songs from Mrs. Spears' catalog, including most of her hits, as well as "some deep cuts in an album".
The show will begin previews on October 29, November 13 and will run until December 1 at the James M. Nederlander Theater in Chicago.
