Britney Spears' sons are "well cared for" with their father, Kevin Federline, while she seeks help in a health facility

Britney Spears can count on her family to be there when she needs them.

Wednesday, AND confirmed that the singer was taking time at a health facility after undergoing tremendous stress as a result of her father's illness, Jaime Spears. While she is looking for help, her two boys – Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12 – are well cared for by their father and Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline. .

In January, Spears announced that she would take an indefinite break from work to focus on her father's recovery. However, the stress of seeing Jamie sick hurt him.

"Britney has chosen to enter the institution and plans to take at least a 30-day break to focus on herself," the source told ET. "She plans to stay in the facility to reduce her stress level and regain strength to be present for her father and children."
