Britney Spears took to social media on Monday, thanking the #FreeBritney movement for its efforts to free the superstar from his 13-year tutelage.
“# FreeBritney movement… I have no words… because of you and your constant resilience to free me from my tutelage… my life is now in this direction !!!!! she captioned a video of herself posing for the camera while Kanye West’s “Fade” performs.
“I cried for two hours last night because my fans are the best and I know it,” added the “Lucky” singer, 39, who sports straight hair and a signature crop top in the clip.
“I feel your heart and you feel mine… I know it’s true !!!!!”
The pop icon’s tribute to his fans comes days after his ex-father, Jamie Spears, was suspended from his guardianship.
The #FreeBritney movement was launched in early 2019 following online speculation that Britney was being held in a mental health facility against her will (which she later confirmed in explosive court testimony in June. ).
