The singer’s posts come less than a week after she scored a major victory in her guardianship battle.

Judge Brenda Penny suspended her father, James P. Spears, as her estate registrar on Wednesday. It was a ruling that Spears and his attorney, Mathew Rosengart, have been asking for in recent months.

Last week, some 200 to 300 #FreeBritney supporters of all ages gathered outside the Stanley Mosk courthouse to express their support for the singer. Under a huge police presence that blocked the street, chants outside the court echoed Judge Penny to “do the right thing” by freeing Spears from her father’s control “now.”

The pop star has been calling for years in and out of court for strategically concerted efforts to oust her father from his long-standing post as his estate curator. She revealed the restrictions she was living under during a bomb hearing in June. The “Gimme More” singer claimed she was not allowed to remove her contraceptive device or get married.

During Wednesday’s hearing, the judge heard lengthy arguments from leading attorneys representing Britney and Jamie Spears.

Rosengart said Spears “wants, needs and deserves an orderly transition” and added that she “has been abused by this man for the past decade and since he was a child.”

“Britney Spears testified under oath about the cruelty and toxic presence of James Spears in her life,” he told the judge. “There is a mountain of evidence ordering his suspension.”

Judge Penny ruled that “the suspension is in the best interests of Britney Spears” and added that “the current situation is not sustainable”. She further argued that her decision was not subject to appeal.

In response, Spears’ attorney Vivian L. Thoreen said in part Thursday: “Mr. Spears loves his daughter Britney unconditionally. For thirteen years he has tried to do what is in her best interests, be it in as a curator or as a father. “
