Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs make a return trip to the Super Bowl.
On Sunday, the defending Super Bowl champions beat the Buffalo Bills, 38-24, in the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where Mahomes’ fiancee Brittany Matthews watched.
“I’m so proud of you,” Matthews, 25, said on his Instagram story.
Mahomes, who is also expecting her first child with a little girl Matthews, completed 29 of 38 attempted passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns.
Mahomes, 25, and the Chiefs will now face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7 in Tampa, Fla.
Earlier today on Sunday, Matthews posted a pair of game day snaps from his Arrowhead sequel.
“Let’s do this👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 #chiefskingdom,” Matthews wrote on the Instagram post.
Matthews and Mahomes announced their engagement in September.
