quarterbacks
Taryn Christion, QB, State of South Dakota: He is a good size and works really well when you throw him. It is a good ploy that would add competition to the bottom of the depth chart.
Eric Dungey, QB, Syracuse: He is very mobile and a threat with his legs. He needs a lot of work as a pitcher, but he has this advantage.
Running backs
Bryce Love, RB, Stanford: Here is a guy who would be drafted, but with injury problems, I am told that he will escape the repĂȘchage. It's exactly what Denver wants to do and his level of talent is high and probably a choice early on the third day if he has not been injured.
Aeris Williams. RB. State of MississippiHe has a good skill set that works best outside of the zones. It also offers value as a solid blocker, a good receiver and head of special team coverage.
Wide receivers
Jalen Guyton from north Texas and Tyron Johnson from the state of Oklahoma correspond to the "burner bill". They have the right size and speed to be a vertical threat, and with more development can challenge the three levels of the field.
Offensive line
Jackson Barton out of Utah, Chidi Okeke from the state of Tennessee, Damian Prince from Maryland, Alex Bars out of Notre Dame, Ryan Pope from San Diego State and Ross Reynolds from Iowa are five guys who would fit perfectly for the Broncos diet.
-
The bars would be drafted if it were not for medical reasons and could compete immediately for the full list of 53 players.
-
Reynolds fits perfectly into a scheme of zones located inside.
-
Barton and Okeke need development before they are ready and could land on the training team.
-
Pope is a good athlete who is a tackle in the NFL. He needs more strength and technique before he is ready.
-
Prince will be moved from tackle to guard, but he has good athleticism and decent feet for a zone ploy.
Defensive line
Olive Sagapolu out of Wisconsin is a big and difficult nose tackle. He is limited as a pass holder, but has the size and strength to handle the race.
P.J. Johnson Arizona had a strong day of training and showed good speed and strong strength. He is a 320-pound defensive tackle who is quick across the gaps.
Edge Rusher
North Carolina A & T board Darryl Johnson has a style of play is similar to Jeff Holland and Shaq Barrett.
Jesse Aniebonam Maryland suffered an injury and her game was not the same. If the teams can record the potential that he had before the injury, he could make an excellent depth.
Luke Gifford Nebraska is all engine like a hustler, but it has a great rotational movement. It will need a lot more development, but this rotation is excellent.
Old Dominion Tim Ward in any of this list, I would not be shocked if he was writing and writing much earlier than expected. He has a very good frame and a good size, but remains an unscrupulous football player.
Off-ball second-timer
Second in Memphis Curtis Akins is quite smooth in coverage with good speed and range. In this model, the Broncos have Devin Bushbut after him, they miss fast guys with good reach.
Azeez Al-Shaair Florida Atlantic is not a cover-boy, but he is strong against running and very effective as a blitzer.
cornerback
Alex Brown, from South Carolina, is small for a 5-foot-10, 185-pound corner, but he has good speed, speed and good length to make up for. It is also a good fit for the diet.
Donnie Lewis Jr. of Tulane is an ideal model for the Broncos and has a good size and a good length for the post. It is a model that I considered to put in my provisional draft as a seventh round choice.
security
B.J. McNeese State's Blunt is a safety / linebacker hybrid with solid coverage. It is this tweener, but if you are ready to move it, it could have a solid depth.
D & Cota Dixon Wisconsin played everywhere on the field for Wisconsin and enrolled in the scheme. If he had been in good health during the selection process, he would review a preliminary selection.
specialists
Hunter Jake Bailey Stanford has a strong leg with a knack for throwing punts over 60 yards with ease. His kick must be consistent, because he will be able to start a pass of 65 yards then 31 yards next time.
Utah kicker Matt Gay scored 86.2% of his goals with 72% over 50 yards He is also under 40, but 40-49 is a problem.
