The Phoenix Suns won’t face one of the Brooklyn Nets’ biggest stars on Tuesday night.

Forward Kevin Durant will miss the game with mild hamstring strain, the Nets announced on Sunday. Durant is expected to be out for at least two games while he receives treatment.

The Nets face the Sacramento Kings on Monday before facing the Suns.

Over the season, Durant averaged 29 points per game, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists.

The forward recently returned to the pitch on Saturday after missing three games due to the COVID-19 protocol. He then played 33 minutes and scored 20 points in a win over the Golden State Warriors.

During the season, Durant missed nine of the team’s 28 games. He missed the entire 2019-20 season with an injury to Achilles.
