Brother and sister killed in car crash on Florida highway

A brother and sister died together in a car crash on a Florida freeway this week after a man fleeing from police crashed into their vehicle, authorities said.

Domynick Milis, 21, and Danycka Milis, 18, from Omro, Wisconsin, were on their way home after watching the Christmas lights at Daytona International Speedway when they crashed around 7 p.m. Tuesday, reported the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

Domynick was driving a Red Nissan when the hijacker suspect made an illegal U-turn on Interstate 95 near Daytona Beach and crashed into his car, instantly killing the siblings, reported the point of sale.

Their brother Drake, 13, and their cousin Kyley Larsen, 17, were also in a vehicle; both were hospitalized with serious injuries.

The incident began when police recovered a stolen Altima near Matanzas Woods Parkway and began chasing the vehicle.

The 47-year-old suspect, an Orlando man who drove with a revoked license, was also killed, the outlet said.
