The final injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns for their Week 4 game at US Bank Stadium have been officially released. Few players ruled out for Sunday’s game, but there could be some interesting decisions from both sides ahead of kick-off. Let’s take a look at both reports, starting with the visiting team.
Cleveland Browns Week 4 injury report
Player | Position | Injury | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Sunday Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Player | Position | Injury | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Sunday Status |
Chris hubbard | OT | Triceps | LP | LP | LP | Outside |
Greg Newsome II | CB | Calf | DNP | DNP | DNP | Outside |
Sione Takitaki | KG | Tendon | LP | LP | LP | Questionable |
JC Tretter | KG | Neck | DNP | DNP | LP | Questionable |
Jedrick Wills Jr. | OT | Peg | DNP | DNP | LP | Questionable |
Odell Beckham Jr. | WR | Shoulder | LP | PF | PF | — |
Jadeveon clowney | OF | Neck | — | PF | PF | — |
Jack Conklin | OT | Knee | LP | LP | LP | — |
We mentioned Newsome, who might already be the Browns’ best corner, coming out of this one earlier in the week, so it’s no surprise. The three starting offensive linemen listed for the Browns are all at least questionable for this one, with tackle Jack Conklin not even having received an injury designation. Both Tretter and Wills were restricted to training on Friday and are listed as questionable. The only other player reported for the Browns is Hubbard, who is Conklin’s replacement on the right tackle.
And now it’s time for the home team.

Yes, the injury report seems pretty long and scary for the Vikings, but Smith-Marsette is the only player to have been ruled out. Dalvin Cook said earlier today that barring a setback he will be there on Sunday, though it stands to reason he could cede more of his runs to Alexander Mattison because a) Mattison is coming out of a great game and b) they must keep cook relatively cool.
No one knows if Barr is going to play or not. Until I actually see him on the pitch, I’m just going to assume he’s going to be out. Maybe not having Pierce is a scary proposition against what could be the best 1-2 running back combination in the league, so hopefully he can make it. Christian Darrisaw will likely be active for the first time in his NFL career, but the team will remain with Rashod Hill on the left tackle for now. Maybe it’s for the best. . Honestly, I would expect Darrisaw to take over after the week off just to make sure his conditioning is up to par, barring an injury to Hill in the meantime.
This is a look at the latest injury reports for the Vikings and Browns ahead of Sunday’s game, folks. We’ll have more on this one closer to kickoff.
