Browns fill up with Big Ten defenders in Draft Wire 2-round sham

A pair of trades on Friday rocked the top 10 in the 2021 NFL Draft. How did those moves impact the Cleveland Browns down the first round?

Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling took a stab with his first set of post-trade screenings. In two rounds of picks a lot changed near the top, but the Browns still landed in the solid range to solidify weak spots in the defense. And they did it with a pair of Big Ten defenders.

First in 26th place is Penn State EDGE Jayson Oweh, followed by Ohio State LB Barrett Browning in the second round.

Oweh is an athletic marvel, which he proved on recent Penn State Pro Day, but he didn’t save a single sack in college and is still learning to play football. Browning is one of the most diversely qualified off-ball LBs in a deep class at this position.
