Browns likely to exchange Emmanuel Ogbah

Emmanuel Ogbah did not show up on the Browns program in anticipation of being traded in the near future. A source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.com (the Twitter). The Browns looked on the defensive side and that sounds like an agreement that could be imminent.

After a foot injury that ended his 2017 season, Ogbah suffered an ankle illness in early 2018. The former second-round pick however did shake the ball and scored three bags in 14 games (all starts). Ogbah has 12.5 career bags and may be an option as a complementary pass or deep piece elsewhere, although it will depend on what the Browns will consider an acceptable return.

Ogbah in Cleveland, there is no place for Myles Garrett and Olivier Vernon are the starting books and Chad Thomas, Chris Smith and Anthony Zettel support the high-level duo. He seems ready to follow wide receiver Ricardo Louis, another relic of the Sashi Brown era, at the door.
