Whatever the real reason behind the support of Trent Williams, Redskins team president Bruce Allen is not surprised by the recent absence of his left striker.
"I know what Trent said, so I know the truth," Allen said. "I'll leave my conversation with Trent between us."
Speaking after a ceremony at which the Redskins rookie class met DC Mayor Muriel Bowser in front of the mayor's office, Allen provided little detail on his conversations with Williams.
