Bruce Cassidy is hinting at the Bruins’ roster if David Pastrnak makes his debut against. Capitals

Jack Studnicka was hit hard by a blow he won on Thursday, and Jake DeBrusk is unlikely to be ready in time for Saturday’s game. With the preference not to use Par Lindholm as a winger, it looks like we might see Karson Kuhlman riding a shotgun with David Krejci.

“Don’t think Jake will be ready to go (Saturday), so is it Kuhlman?” Cassidy said after practice on Friday. “He’s on the cab crew, Jack was off the ice today, got hit yesterday, will he be ready to go?” Let’s move Bjork forward and spoil the fourth row, which had a great game the other day. So there will be a little domino effect there depending on the availability of a few players.

According to Mark Divver, Providence Bruins reporter, Kuhlman, Anton Blidh and Steven Kampfer were all off the ice on Friday for the AHL team, meaning they could potentially make the road trip to Washington with the big club.

As Cassidy alluded to, a lot of it depends on the availability of certain guys, and a clearer picture won’t be in focus until after the skate on Saturday morning. So time will tell.
