The podcast world is full of great duos, like the Doughboys or your favorite two McElroy brothers, but they’re all about to be outscored by the ultimate podcasting duo: Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen. According to CNN, both work with Spotify on Renegades: born in the United States, a new podcast from Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground. The podcast, which is part of a larger partnership between Spotify and Higher Ground, will focus on Obama and Springsteen discussing “masculinity, race, fatherhood, and their professional and personal journeys,” with – we can’t what to suppose – some time set aside to talk about it bad movies and promoting the benefits of, say, the Quip electric toothbrushes, the ZipRecruiter and one of those mattresses that come in a box the size of a mini -fridge.

Renegades: born in the United States will consist of eight episodes, the first two of which are now available on Spotify. There’s also a trailer, which you can check out below, and if you’re the kind of person who gets emotional when older men really open up and talk about their feelingsā€¦ you might want to skip this one. Powerful “call your father” energy.
