With less than three months before the elections, the stakes are high. And a ton of work to do.

This has not been lost on “blue” voters, as the 2020 Democratic National Convention kicked off Monday evening (August 17), in a virtual format.

A roster of music stars is expected to appear during the day’s event, including John Legend, The Chicks, Jennifer Hudson and Billie Eilish.

On opening night, indie pop star Maggie Rogers, bluesman Leon Bridges, Broadway star Billy Porter and musician Stephen Stills jumped into the action.

The Boss made a sort of witty appearance as the soundtrack to “The Rising” was Joe Biden’s run for president.

Thousands of people watching from home shared their thoughts on speeches by Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders and others as #DemConvention was all the rage on social media.

Bruce Springsteen, Bette Midler, Eva Longoria and others from the music and entertainment world joined the conversation. See below.
