Bruce Springsteen's "Western Stars" documentary is scheduled for an exclusive theatrical release on October 19-23 by Warner Bros. and Fathom Events.

"Western Stars" was directed by Thom Zinny and Springsteen, a long-time Springsteen collaborator, on his debut film. After the Fathom events, "Western Stars" is scheduled to be released nationally on October 25 by Warner Bros.

The film includes the 13 songs from the album "Western Stars", released in June and the first studio album of Sprigsteen in five years. The film evokes the American West and explores themes of love and loss, loneliness, family and the inexorable passage of time. It's also a personal narrative of Springsteen's songs. The album is backed by an orchestra of 30 musicians and was recorded in the Springsteen barn.

The documentary producers are Zimny, Jon Landau, Barbara Carr and George Travis, Springsteen being the lead producer. Fathom Events, a specialist in one night and two night entertainment and rehearsal events, is a joint venture of AMC, Cinemark and Regal. is a producer.
