Bruce Springsteen Western stars The documentary should be released in the theater next month in both parties. The visits will take place at 16h and 19h on 19 and 23 October.

The film will then be available nationally on October 25, after the exclusive screenings. For more information on participating theaters and tickets, visit the Fathom Events website.

Springsteen, who debuted as a director alongside his long-time collaborator, Thom Zinny, plays the 13 songs on the album. He also added personal stories to an orchestra of 30 musicians in an old barn. The film is complemented by exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, unpublished archive footage, and unpublished music from Springsteen's safe.

Western stars arrived in June as Springsteen's first studio album in five years.

"Really, it was just a collection of new songs that I had assembled in a certain way and that had a certain mood that evoked the western part of the country and a certain style of musical writing – Southern California in the 70s, "said Springsteen during a question-and-answer session this week at the Toronto International Film Festival.

"So, I've been interesting to write in that perspective," he added. "And there was an emotional arc that I was trying to communicate, [which is] what the film brings out even more than what the record did. When we added the spoken pieces between the music, this really highlighted what was about the album a lot more in the foreground. "

He quickly confirmed that he was not planning the dates of assistance. "We knew we were not going to tour," Springsteen told SiriusXM. "So, I was looking for a way to make music play to an audience – and so we thought it was the best way to do it."

the Western stars The documentary premiered at TIFF this week and received a standing ovation when Springsteen offered an impromptu cover-up of Glen Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy" in a similar musical vein.
