- Most games between the Bruins and the Blue Jackets were underlain, but they really collapsed. The two teams exchanged goals in a dizzying sequence, but Tuukka Rask and David Pastrnak did just enough for Boston to take a 3-2 lead in the playoffs. Boston's top three players drew criticism from the first three games of Round 2, but they made good progress in the fourth and fifth games. The Bruins built a 2-0 lead early in the third period. a relatively easy victory in a series where few victories happened easily. Then, the two teams teamed up for a total of four goals in 3:25 and five goals in just under 8 minutes to let the fans live in a prayer. Despite this score, Tuukka Rask and Sergei Bobrovsky were fantastic. In the end, the Columbus season is on the brink of the Bruins' arrival on Saturday.
Sharks 2, Avalanche 1 (San Jose leads the series 3-2; Game 6 is broadcast at 22 hours. AND on Monday on NBCSN [stream here])
In two periods, the Sharks managed to get a 29-15 lead in goals, but Philipp Grubauer found a way to keep things tied 1-1. Both teams struggled to find the light of day, even on the power play, with Colorado scoring a goal for 3 and the Sharks scoring once on five occasions. Tomas Hertl has been there, and for both goals of the Sharks, and you will know more about his evening with just a little scroll.
Three stars
1. Tomas Hertl
After failing to score a goal and having just two assists in the first four games of this series, the tough Sharks striker scored both San Jose goals, including (of course) the winner.
It was a rugged presence, even beyond the obvious goals. Hertl shot eight SOG points, earned a +1, a 14-7 score on the draws, and a 24:01 victory in the fifth game. The Czech striker really started to take over the Golden Knights in the memorable Sharks' Round 1. winning series, and if this output is an indication, he could give Colorado all he can handle in stretching.

2. David Pastrnak / Brad Marchand
Your preference may depend on your weighting in points relative to other contextual factors.
Marchand scored more points with three, scoring one goal and collecting two assists in the fifth match. Pastrnak scored two goals, one of them being the winner of the match. the puck (seven SOG for Pastrnak, two for Marchand). Patrice Bergeron was strong himself, but had only one help, so we can at least cancel it.
Let's call it a tie, then. Speaking of giving a place to several people …
3. Basically, the four guards
For most of game 5 between the Bruins and the Blue Jackets, Tuukka Rask and Sergei Bobrovsky had a great duel of goaltenders. Their numbers have suffered from the last defeat of the scores, but if you look at the highlights of the videos above, you will see that the two goalkeepers have made huge saves. Bobrovsky even managed a miraculous stop just before it was spoiled when Merchant followed him with a goal. Rask made one more backup (33) than Bob (32), which finally made the difference, but Rask and Bob were pretty spectacular on Saturday.
Grubauer is the main reason why Sharks – Avs went over goals, since he blocked 37 of 39 shots against San Jose. Martin Jones only needed 21 saves to win the fifth game, but many of them were very difficult. It deserves at least one mention among these three others.
