Finally, the playoffs are on our doorstep.
The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs will face the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Boston enters the playoffs as No. 2 seed of the Eastern Conference and will have a home advantage in its series with Toronto.
The NHL Sunday revealed the dates and times of all rounds of the first round.
Here is the Bruins-Leafs calendar:
The times for games 5, 6 and 7 will be revealed if and when the games become necessary.
The Bruins also announced Sunday a series of changes.
Boston ended their regular season on Saturday with a 6-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Lightning tied the record for the most regular season wins in NHL history with 62 wins.
The Bruins finished with the third best NHL record, behind the Calgary Lightning and Calgary Flames. So a second round series with the Lightning and a Stanley Cup final against the Flames are the only possible series in which Boston would not have the advantage of being at home.
