Bryan Cranston lists his custom eco-friendly beach house in Ventura, Calif. For $ 4.995 million

Bryan Cranston managed to spend some quality family time during his forties.

He moved into the once completed home in 2013 with his wife Robin Dearden, 67, and their daughter Taylor, 28, after years of seeing his vision come to light.

The modern house with streamlined lines uses energy efficiency, solar systems and recycling systems to create as much energy as it uses.

Dubbed Three Palms, the 2,450-square-foot waterfront property sits at the end of a private road in the seaside town.

It has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with a large open plan room with a modern kitchen, a fireplace and a reading corner.

There is a generous patio space to receive guests and take in the panoramic ocean views, just steps from the water.

Cranston is also offering the option of including their custom furniture and personal art collection with the sale of the home.

He said: “ I hope a family will buy it so that their children and grandchildren can all come and visit, and they can jump in the ocean and learn to swim or surf and take walks on the beach – watch the dolphins passing by almost every morning and afternoon.

And at the end of the day, on deck, share a glass of wine with friends while watching the sunset on the horizon.

The Malcolm actor in the middle opened up to People in December about being able to spend time at home with his family during the pandemic.

He said: “ I work a lot and it especially requires that I be outside my home state. There is an important part of loneliness. And I am happier with my family.

Cranston was filming his new Showtime Your Honor series in New Orleans when the lockdown occurred, and he then recovered from his own diagnosis with COVID-19.
