Brydge C-Type USB-C / Bluetooth Keyboard for Chrome OS debuts at $ 99 to order – About Chromebooks

In January, at the Consumer Electronics Show, I took a look at the Brydge C-Type keyboard for Chrome OS and it is now available. You can order the Brydge Type-C dual connectivity keyboard now for $ 99. Shipments from May 17th.

If the Type-C looks like Brydge's own Type-G, it's because it basically has the same design and the company worked directly with Google to create both keyboards. The Type-G appeared at the same time as the Google Pixel slate and Google's own keyboard for this tablet.

Although I've chosen the Google Pixel Slate Keyboard for my tablet – although its design raises some capacity issues – many Brydge Type-G owners are happy with their choice.

The previously announced Brydge Type-C dual-connectivity keyboard for Chrome OS can now be ordered for $ 99. You can choose between USB-C or Bluetooth to type in your Chromebox, your Chrome OS tablet or even a Chromebook.

And in my short guy with Type-C at CES, I was impressed. I will have to get an evaluation unit for a more complete review, but the Type-C has a solid input experience, a backlit keyboard, and works via USB-C or Bluetooth. Note that you also get a dedicated Google Assistant key. Brydge says waiting for six months of typing on a single charge.

Assuming my first impressions are true with shipping units, the Brydge Type-C wireless keyboard could be ideal for Chromebox or Chrome OS tablets.

By the way, there is also a Brydge type C wireless trackpad; which is listed as "coming soon".

Thanks to George for the tip!
