With their new album, Card of the soul: Persona, released today (April 12), the BTS are interested in their past to advance, and the sparkling "Boy With Luv" – which echoes their aggressive anthem for teenagers "Boy In Luv" – reflects their growth. The upbeat song, a collaboration with American pop star Halsey, celebrates the act of falling in love and finding joy in every little thing. (The Korean title of the song translates roughly to "A poem for the little things".)

"You are the star who transforms the ordinary into extraordinary," says Suga. "One after the other, everything is special: the things that interest you, the way you walk or talk, and each of your petty little habits."

The lyrics intelligently recall the other works in the group. "I fly high in the sky", sings V in the pre-chorus. "With the two wings that you made me back then." the wings refer to their 2016 album of the same name, which explored the idea of ​​reaching your potential – or expanding your wings – with unbridled passion. At some point in the music video, members even find themselves surrounded by neon lights (a visual sign of Broadway's hat), whose names span their entire career – from 2 cool 4 skool at You never walk alone and Reply.

For its part, Halsey's characteristic air voice floats on the sticky hook – a mix of English and Korean, led by an immediately catchy chorus.
