BTS and Halsey start in the early summer with "Boy With Luv & # 39;

Five years ago, BTS was a group of young adults aged 20 to 20 who were trying to understand the world around them. They then channeled these confusing emotions and experiences, such as first love, disappointment and heartache, into their hard-hitting music and 2014 album. Skool Luv Affair and his single "Boy In Luv" are a reflection of it. Now five years older and wiser, the Korean Septet is one of the largest musical groups in the world, with two consecutive albums No. 1 in the repertoire Display panel 200 chart, a sold-out world tour, and the most powerful Internet group in their corner. But their latest single, "Boy With Luv", proves that, even though BTS has reached maturity, it has not lost its artistic edge.

It's fun, fresh and always 100% BTS.

With their new album, Card of the soul: Persona, released today (April 12), the BTS are interested in their past to advance, and the sparkling "Boy With Luv" – which echoes their aggressive anthem for teenagers "Boy In Luv" – reflects their growth. The upbeat song, a collaboration with American pop star Halsey, celebrates the act of falling in love and finding joy in every little thing. (The Korean title of the song translates roughly to "A poem for the little things".)

"You are the star who transforms the ordinary into extraordinary," says Suga. "One after the other, everything is special: the things that interest you, the way you walk or talk, and each of your petty little habits."

The lyrics intelligently recall the other works in the group. "I fly high in the sky", sings V in the pre-chorus. "With the two wings that you made me back then." the wings refer to their 2016 album of the same name, which explored the idea of reaching your potential – or expanding your wings – with unbridled passion. At some point in the music video, members even find themselves surrounded by neon lights (a visual sign of Broadway's hat), whose names span their entire career – from 2 cool 4 skool at You never walk alone and Reply.

For its part, Halsey's characteristic air voice floats on the sticky hook – a mix of English and Korean, led by an immediately catchy chorus. "Oh my my oh my my my" – and she even has the chance to show off her dancing skills in the visual, play alongside BTS and follow their entire choreography as an idol herself.

Card of the soul: Persona marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for artists after their resounding success Love yourself trilogy, which concluded with Do you like: Answer last November. With more than 3 million pre-orders worldwide, we can say that the BTS are currently studying their next album No. 1 in the United States before embarking on a tour of stadiums around the world.
